Mom got on the road at 5:00 am (Calif time) on Tues, 9/02. I got a call from her around 10:00 am (Calif time) from Las Vegas after she had enjoyed a breakfast at her first diner - a breakfast of a gyro! See the photo at the bottom of the blog. (I learned about the art form of food photos from mom!)
Yesterday I got a call from mom as she was about 150 miles outside of Denver, CO. She was parked overlooking the Colorado River in a beautiful valley with aspens and she went on and on about how gorgeous it was. There were people swimming and playing in the river in tubes.
This morning at 8:30 am (Calif time) she called from Cheyenne, WY.
You're making great progress mom!
